丸亀製麵は安い？高い？ / 日記で学ぶ日常英会話（第08話）

初めて丸亀製麺に行ってきた。
I went to Marugame Udon for the first time.
ランチタイムなので、けっこう混んでいた。
It was quite crowded because it was lunchtime.
僕は丸亀製麺は安いというイメージを持っていた。
I always had the impression that Marugame Udon was cheap.
でも、素うどんにトッピングをいくつか加えると、合計で1,000円近くになる。
But if I add a few toppings to the plain udon, the total comes to nearly 1,000 yen.
正直なところ、ここは意外と高くなることがある。
Honestly speaking, this place can be pretty expensive.
でも、ねぎ、わかめ、ごまを好きなだけ入れられるので、楽しい。
But it's fun because you can add as much green onion, wakame, and sesame as you want.
またここに来たいかな？と自問してみた。
I asked myself if I wanted to come back here again.
来たい。でも、トッピングは1つだけにする。
