【第3話】コワーキングスペースの会員になった

家以外でWi-Fiが使えて、コーヒーを飲める場所を探していた。
I was looking for a place where I could use Wi-Fi and have some coffee outside of my house.
すると、ラーゴという面白そうなカフェを見つけた。
Then, I found an interesting cafe called Largo.
定額料金を一度払えば、閉店まで滞在できるし、もちろんWi-Fiも無料だ。
Once you pay a fixed fee, you can stay until closing time. Of course, Wi-Fi is free.
そこに着くと、スタッフが1人と客が1人いた。
When I got there, there was one staff member and one customer in the room.
そのスタッフの名前は伊藤さんだ。彼はオーナーで、3週間前に店をオープンしたばかりだという。
The staff member's name is Ito-san. He is the owner and just opened the place recently.
こういう場所は「コワーキングスペース」と呼ばれているらしい。
Apparently, this kind of place is called a "co-working space."
「フリーランス同士が出会える場所にしたいんだ」と伊藤さんは言った。
"I want this to be a place where freelancers can meet each other," Ito-san said.
僕はその考えが気に入り、その場ですぐに月額会員になった。
I liked the idea and I became a monthly member on the spot.
